Raspberry Pi Max Corrente dalle Porte USB.Per aumentare la corrente massima erogata dalle porte USB del Raspberry Pi e portarla a 1000 mA (1 Ampere) per facilitare l’utilizzo di periferiche che hanno un maggior assorbimento sulle porte USB del Raspberry Pi, che di solito, è impostato, per fornire di default alle porte USB, un totale di 500mA, Il modo per superare il limite e di aggiungere un parametro nel  file /boot/config.txt. Aggiungere alla fine della lista di parametri contenuti nel config.txt la riga a fine paragrafo e salvare. Il file è contenuto nella partizione Boot della microSD (FAT32, quindi si può editare anche direttamente da Windows e Mac).

max_usb_current=1

Per avere la maggiore corrente che alimenti una periferica collegata al Raspberry, è possibile prelevare da due porte USB, tramite una presa USB a “Y”. In tal modo la periferica si collega al Raspberry Pi, ad una porta USB per i dati, ma prende corrente da entrambe le porte USB a cui e collegata. La foto chiarisce molto bene il concetto, cavo USB ad “Y” che collega un Hard Disck da 1 Tera (1.000 Gb) a due porte USB del Raspberry Pi.
